Karnataka gave a splendid performance in Agincourt Square at the Monmouth Festival on July 30th.

They are fronted by the very talented and lovely Rachel Jones, here singing with the full-on passion that is a hallmark of this super band.

Since recording their second CD The Storm, Anne-Marie Helder has joined Karnataka. Her additional vocals, percussion and wind instruments give them an even richer sound than previously - and adds to the colout too!

Jonathan Edwards tinkles the ivories, a key feature of their layered sound textures.

Paul Davies is a very talented and versatile guitarist whose superb playing is a prominent feature in Karnataka's songs.

Drummer Gavin Griffiths keeps the energy coming forth.

From his role as bassist, Ian Jones is also a major inspiration for Karnataka and has co-written most of their songs.

Karnataka are more than just great musicians - their performances are energetic and animated as seen here.

Paul's intricate fretwork in action again here.

Anne-Marie's flute adds to the variety on many of their songs.

Ian also plays acoustic guitar on some songs, as here on The Journey.

Here are Rachel and Anne-Marie in harness yet again. Karnataka are fabulous entertainers!
