Winchcombe station and yard

Winchcombe is the next station south of Toddington, and also has lots to interest the enthusiast. This is the view back towards Toddington.

My train passes the up innerhomes, on its way into the up platform.

The up outerhome is a considerable distance further back, before the southern Greet tunnel portal.

The signalbox was originally at Hall Green, and has the frame that originally belonged to Honeybourne West Loop.

Its counterpart for the section to Cheltenham Racecourse was lacking a galvanometer needle, so an external one has been fixed above the window frame.
