Another great party thanks to Bob and Lou. Nick Evans was on holiday this year so Bryn Phillips started off proceedings, here accompanied by Ann and Corrine. |

After a short break, the Strawbs launched into a medley of Benedictus and Simple Visions. |

The Strawbs normally include a couple of songs in their sets where Dave Cousins plays the banjo. Tonight we were treated to three, with Shine On Silver Sun and Cold Steel being followed by Witchwood. |

| Bob and Lou always organise something unexpected as a finale to their parties. This year we were told the party wouldn't be over until the "fat lady had sung". But before that we were treated to a great rendition of Nessun Dorma by tenor Roger "Pavarottino". | ![]() |

So, finally, fellow opera singer Lorraine rounded off proceedings with a rousing version of
Rule Britannia. If I'd been her I'd have thumped Bob for calling me "fat"! :) |
