Strawbs at Bilston Welcome back again to the Strawbs at this fantastic West Midlands venue.
Dave Cousins played this 12-string guitar throughout the set. Dave Cousins
Dave Lambert Dave Lambert, singing the lead on The Winter And The Summer - my favourite of his Strawbs songs.
Chas Cronk. Chas Cronk
Oliver Wakeman Really great to see Oliver Wakeman now a Strawb, as I've been a fan of Oliver's solo work for several years now.
Stalwart drummer Rod Coombes remains an integral part of the band. Rod Coombes

Blissful bass playing by Chas. Chas Cronk

This is how Dave plays the seagull effects on Autumn (note the slide behind his left forefinger). Dave Lambert
Oliver Wakeman Oliver's keyboard skills give the band a noticeably more progressive rock sound. This years setlist contained more songs from the period when his father was in the band, such as Sheep and a superb extended guitar/keyboard workout version of Where Is This Dream Of Your Youth?
A storming gig - Oliver seems to fit just beautifully into the Strawbs lineup. Strawbs
